Mövenpick, a Swiss hotelier, has reached a serious milestone in its business – the company’s portfolio of managed hotels is about to reach one hundred. The 100th hotel will be an accommodation in Paris, which is also the first hotel by Mövenpick in the capital of France. This is a true success for the Swiss hotelier specializing on upscale accommodations.
The new hotel will be a rebranded Courtyard by Marriott Paris Neuilly. The property will start operating under the Mövenpick brand in January 2013. Boulevard Victor Hugo in Neuilly is a truly exclusive location in the heart of the so called “golden business triangle” of Paris – the space between Levallois Perret, La Defense corporate center, and Neuilly-sur-Seine. The hotel is just 10 minutes by foot from beautiful Bois du Boulogne Park and next to the high quality American Hospital. Guests of this hotel can easily reach the internationally famous Arc de Triomphe, which is just 3 stops by underground from the station near the hotel. Proximity to main tourist attractions and comfortable distance to motorway and large conference centers make the hotel a perfect location for both business and leisure travellers.
Prior to changing the managing organization, the hotel will undergo through a multi-million renovation, after which the number of hotel’s rooms will be increased to 282 guestrooms and 29 suites. All rooms will be completely changed. The renovation will not stop the work of the hotel as it will be made floor-by-floor. It is expected that all works will be finished by 2014.
