Park Plaza Hotels will add two more properties to its portfolio. The hotelier will open 2 hotels in Croatia in May 2012. Both hotels are rebranded from Arenaturist Group – one of the leaders in hotel market of Croatia. Park Plaza Verudela Pula and Park Plaza Histria Pula will undergo a large renovation prior to opening.
Both hotels are located on Istrian peninsula, so these will be resorts targeted mostly at leisure travellers. In order to bring the hotels in accordance with the standards of Park Plaza brand, the hotelier has invested 25 million euro into renovation.
Croatia becomes more popular as a holiday destination, so many hoteliers want to open properties in this country. Both Park Hotels in Croatia will represent upscale segment.
Park Plaza Histria Pula will have 214 guestrooms. The hotel’s interior is developed by a famous English designer Scott Brownrigg. On the territory of the hotel will be located a restaurant, a fitness and a wellness center, a sauna, an indoor pool, and various business facilities like board and conference rooms. All guestrooms will be remade in order to make them airy and spacious. Hotel’s lobby and reception zones will be also remade. Near the hotel will be also organized a private beach area, a parking and even a yacht club.
Park Plaza Verudela Pula will have 385 apartments. The hotel will be fully remade according to the project of two local designers – Studio Kaic and Studio 92. The hotel will have a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a kids club, a parking and even a zone with retail shops.
