Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a famous hotelier headquartered in New York, has announced the opening of the first hotel in the UK under the Aloft brand.
This Aloft hotel in London will be located in Docklands. ExCeL International Exhibition and Convention Centre is just next to the new accommodation. Aloft London Excel will have 252 guestrooms designed in loft style, industrial influences in design of lobby, a bar scene, and a food pantry. Starwood will manage this property under the agreement with Aby Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC), which is also the owner of ExCeL. This is not the first collaboration of these companies as ADNEC is the owner of Aloft hotel in Abu Dhabi – the first Aloft-branded hotel in the Middle East.
Aloft tries to make its hotels as much comfortable for visitors as possible, and so guests can enjoy atmospheric spaces for public where they can rest comfortably, read a newspaper, play a game, work on laptop, have a drink with friends and more. The hotel is equipped with free Wi-Fi Internet that can be accessed either in lobby or in guestrooms. Each room also has a 42 inch LCD TV with plug-and-play connectivity. Guests can use their gadgets to connect to it and turn their rooms in offices or entertainment centers.
On the territory of the hotel will be also located a fitness center, a restaurant and a bar, a Splash pool and 24h beverage area.
