Right after the debut property by the Radisson Blu brand in North America the company announces two additions. These will be hotels in China and Turkey.
A hotel in China will be the second property of the hotelier in this country. The property will be opened in Tianjin, China, and is scheduled for opening in the second half of 2013. The full name of this 274-guestroom hotel is Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Jixian Tianjin. The developer of this hotel is Tianjin Saint Light Real Estate Development Co.
This hotel will have an advantageous location at the foot of Mount Pan, which is known as one of popular tourist attractions in China. On the territory of the hotel will be located numerous facilities for business purposes as Jixian Economic Development Area is located nearby, so the company hopes to attract many business travellers.
The property in Turkey will be the 246-guestroom hotel in Mersin. Radisson Blu will convert the existing Taksim Hotel Mersin. The hotel occupies top floors of the 52-story Mersin Trade Center – the tallest building of Mersin and one of the tallest buildings in whole Turkey. The hotelier emphasizes that Turkey is one of the priority countries for them, so we can expect more openings here from Rezidor.
