This week Ritz-Carlton debuted in Saudi Arabia by opening a hotel in Riyadh. The 493-guestroom location looks more like a palace and invites visitors to live in a fairytale.
You will be amazed by this hotel right from the start as all guests arrive through a 52-acre large plot of land with magnificent gardens. The palace hotel was designed by Al Rasheed Engineering Company. Large and spectacular fountains are one of the hotel’s attractions. The hotel is designed like a traditional Arabian palace and features graceful facades and wonderful residences. Initially this place has been planned to become a special place that will greet heads of states, dignitaries and other special guests. The gardens of the hotel are full of palms, 600-year old olive trees from Lebanon and fountains.
The developers of this hotel have tried to combine the atmosphere of a palace and a hotel. All rooms of this palace are designed in an elegant style with vibrant colors and ethic influences. On the territory of the hotel guests will find gourmet dining facilities, a cigar lounge and a 24h buffet. Business and meeting facilities are represented by a 62,000 sq. ft. (5,800 sq. m.) large conference space.
