Ritz-Carlton now can add one more hotel in Oman to its portfolio as it has been revealed that this famous hotelier will take over the management from no less famous company – IHG. From now Al Bustan Palace InterContinental hotel in Muscat will operate as Ritz-Carlton.
The hotel in Al Bustan Palace is an iconic destination that includes not only a hotel, but also 200 acres of land with beautiful gardens and the longest beach in Oman. This luxurious hotel with 250 guestrooms has just gone through a costly renovation, so no refurbishing will be done. Ritz-Carlton has announced that all employees will keep their jobs, as well as the hotel’s management.
The President of Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. Herve Humler has already commented this deal, telling it’s a great opportunity for the company. Ritz-Carlton has been searching for a proper accommodation in the capital of Oman for a long time, so Al Bustan Palace is definitely a great luck. The hotel hasn’t been very popular lately, but Ritz-Carlton plans to retain its key position on the hotel market of the region.
