It is announced that Dorchester Collection has just signed its first agreement concerning the management of a hotel. Former Le Richemond hotel on Lake Geneva will join Dorchester’s network already this August.
Le Richemond hotel is an old and respected hotel with 136-year-old-history. The previous owner of this accommodation is The Rocco Forte Collection. The luxurious 109-key accommodation was bought by Cedar Capital Partners after the agreement with Rocco Forte and Family Ltd. last December.
Prior to change of the management organization the hotel will undergo a refurbishment of both public and private areas. Even though the hotel will stay opened during the renovation, such areas like a restaurant, a bar, a lobby and guestrooms will be renovated.
The CEO of Dorchester Christopher Cowdray has already made a comment about the deal, sharing his delight about the ability to run this luxurious hotel. Dorchester Collection specializes in luxurious accommodations and plans to grow its portfolio by signing management deals in future. Prior to this agreement the company has managed only its own accommodations.
The officer responsible for the transition and integration of the new property is Francois Delahaye. The new management company wants to turn the hotel into one of the centers of Geneva society’s life.
