Soon a new hotel-boutique will be opened at the famous Lake Como in Italy. The renowned Sereno hotel is going to be launched at St. Barth.

The hotel, which full title is Il Sereno Lago di Como, is located right on the lakefront not far away from the Torno village. The hotel may start operating in 2013. This is going to be an intimate property with just 30 guestrooms. The atmosphere and design are aimed to make visitors feel relaxed. The hotelier says they will pay ultimate attention to all aspects like design, service and other details that will make the rest in this hotel at Lake Como unforgettable. The owner wants to make this hotel the most stylish and private one in the region.

The design of the new hotel is developed by Christian Liagre, who is known as one of the most famous and widely copied designers of our time. Patrick Blanc will participate in the creation of the outside design. He is a famous botanist, particularly known for his vertical gardens. Blanc will be responsible for landscaping, while preserving the natural beauty of the lake and surrounding nature.

The hotel’s owner, Luis Contreras, says St. Barth and Lake Como are in the list of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world, so his aim has been to create the property that will provide best service for visitors.

As the hotel has a waterfront location, it will have boat docks and a floating pool. This region is also famous for rich silk heritage, so this material will be widely used in the design of the new property. Restaurants of II Sereno Lago di Como will mainly serve dishes from the local cuisine made of finest and fresh regional products. The hotel will also feature a full-service Spa.
