Wyndham Hotel Group continues its expansion on the Indian market and represents 7 new properties in this country that will be opened under the Ramada and Days Inn brands. The majority of new properties will have Ramada name (6 out of 7).
All hotels in India will be operated by Wyndham. The company has already signed agreements with Madhuban Group for hotels in Dehradun and Mussoorie and with Aerens Goldsouk International Ltd. for development of hotels in Hisar, Chennai, Kochi and Ludhiana. The only Days Inn hotel will be built by Mosaic Infraventures Private Ltd. and will be opened on Raipur. The Days Inn brand is new to India as the first property under it opened a month ago. However, at the moment of opening Days Inn Raipur will be the fourth property by this brand in India. In addition to the new hotels mentioned above Wyndham has 12 hotels operating in this country and 8 more in pipeline.
The 39-key 5-story Ramada hotel in Mussoorie will open already this October. The accommodation will have a Spa center, business facilities, a fitness center and an all-day restaurant. In December will open 116-key Ramada Dehradun Rajpur Road hotel. The opening of Ramada hotel in Chennai is scheduled for March 2012. The 100-key hotel will be a part of the Gold Souk Grande complex that will also include a trading center and food outlets. The rest of hotels will open in 2014 and 2015.
