Wyndham Debuts in the Middle East with Its Grand Brand

Wyndham Hotel Group opens a hotel in Doha under the Grand brand. This is going to be the first property by this brand in the Middle East.

The 246-key Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is located in a posh district Al Sadd of the capital of Qatar. Currently the property is already working under the name Grand Regency Hotel Doha. As Wyndham representatives state, the hotel will change its title this spring when management rights pass to Wyndham. The owner of the property remains unchanged and this is Regency Group Holding.

Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is located in proximity to famous destinations of the Qatar’s capital. The hotel is just 15 km away from Doha International Airport; nearby the accommodation are located the Corniche waterfront promenade and the local Exhibition Centre.

The hotel’s facilities include 3 restaurants and cafes that feature wide selection of international cuisines, starting from a la carte menu and up to Moroccan cuisine. Guests of the hotel will also enjoy a swimming pool, a gym, and Angsana spa. Meeting facilities include Al Qasr Ballroom that is 600 sq. m large and can hold around 900 people. Among guestrooms offered in Wyndham Grand Regency Doha is a luxurious Al Asmakh Royal Suite that is equipped with a living room, a bedroom, a boardroom and 2 bathrooms.

Currently famous hoteliers open or plan to open new hotels in Qatar. One of the reasons is the fact Qatar will be the host of 2022 FIFA World Cup that traditionally attracts many tourists.
