Swiss-Belhotel Will Open a Hotel-Boutique in Oman

Swiss-Belhotel International has signed a new management agreement, according to which the company will operate a hotel in Oman. This upscale property will be called Swiss-Belinn Jebal al Akhdar.

Located just 2 hours away from Muscat, this luxurious hotel-boutique will have 60 guestrooms and will be situated in Jabal al Akhdar area that is known for its magnificent views and is very popular among leisure travellers who seek not only high-quality rest, but also outdoor activities.

Swiss-Belinn Jebal al Akhdar will be not a newly built property. Currently the hotel building is undergoing renovation that is planned to be finished in the end of this year. During renovation works the hotel’s facilities will be extended and so after the opening it will feature a health club, several restaurants, a swimming pool, a Spa center, and meeting rooms.

The hotel’s management has very ambitious plans of becoming one of the leading hotels in Jabal al Akhdar. Currently Oman becomes more attractive for tourists and so the growth in travellers’ influx may also help the hotel to become profitable.

Swiss-Belhotel is a Hong Kong-based hotelier that recently has started its expansion on the global market. The hotel in Jabal al Akhdar is not the first accommodation in Oman by this hotelier as it already signed another management deal in February 2011. According to this agreement the company will manage the 95-key Swiss-Belexpress hotel in Muscat. At the moment Swiss-Belhotel has 20 projects in the pipeline. The approximate number of the hotels in the portfolio of this company may reach 80 already this year.
