Accor creates new innovative design concept that will be presented to publics in a new property by the Novotel brand specializing in midscale accommodations. Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit will be the 370-key accommodation that will feature “re-humanize” concept. This concept is aimed at making the stay more home-like and will be spread to other properties by this brand if successful. Currently the total number of Novotel hotels around the world exceeds 400.
Midscale hotels are usually equipped with not very spacious rooms. The creators of Novotel hotel in Bangkok have decided to develop the design that would optically create a spacious place. Guests can move in rooms freely and extra space is added by transparent parts. For example, the bathroom is separated with a transparent glass partition. Some partitions can be moved, so guests can adjust the space according to their tastes.
Beds in guestrooms are raised and incorporated with reading lights and soft lightning frames. Nearby is located a table that can be drawn to the bed. All rooms have Internet access and 32-inch LCD TV with an uplink panel.
Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit will be the tenth property by this brand in Thailand. There is no strict targeting for Novotel brand and it is considered good for both business and leisure tourists. The hotel will also have a huge ballroom for 210 persons and The Square all-day restaurant.
