Marriott opens 2 new hotels in France and 1 new hotel in Switzerland

A couple of days ago Marriott International has concluded 3 franchise agreements concerning Renaissance hotels in Europe. The hotels are scheduled for opening in 2011-2013. Renaissance Hotel Lucerne (Switzerland) will welcome guests in its 83 rooms already in 2011. The hotels in France will be opened a little later. The 139-key Renaissance Aix-en-Provence may be opened in 2012 and Renaissance Paris Saint-Cloud hotel (113 rooms) is planned to be opened in 2013.

Renaissance hotel in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a franchise agreement with Hotel Schiller Betriebe AG. The hotel has a long history as it has been opened yet in 1909 under the name Hotel Schiller. It is located in the center of the city near Lucerne shopping district.

The first hotel in France, Renaissance Aix-en-Provence, is the result of a franchise agreement with Arthotel Aix-en-Provence SAS. This accommodation in France is located in a typical Provencal town on the south of France. This city is known for its famous fountains, especially for the 17th century Fontaine des Quatre Dauphins. Aix-en-Provence is located 30 kilometers away from Marseille.

Finally, Renaissance Saint-Cloud hotel in Paris will be the fifth property by Marriott in the capital of France. The hotel will be turned into an elegant Paris Country Club and will offer guests to undergo a golf course or enjoy tennis on one of several courts in the property of the hotel. The hotel also owns two restaurants, a bar, a luxury pool and a spa center.
