Tauer Spa Hotel in Austria opens for the upcoming ski season

A new four-star hotel Tauern Spa will open for the upcoming ski season in the Austrian resort of Kaprun. The Health and Beauty Spa Centre of the Tauer Spa hotel will become one of the largest in Austria. Besides several swimming pools, the hotel in Kaprun will offer the health spa zones with different types of sauna and 17 treatment rooms.

To keep the children entertained the Tauer Spa hotel has a special children's pool, water slide, climbing walls and various playrooms.

The hotel in Kaprun features 160 luxurious rooms, each with an open fireplace and panoramic terrace, as well as six restaurants and cafes. The average price of a hotel room is 133 euros per night.

The Tauern Spa hotel is located 10 minutes from the center of Kaprun. The nearest ski areas are the Kaprun Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and Zell am See.

The opening of the new hotel in Austria will coincide with the official start of the 2010 ski season in November.
