The Residor Hotel Group, one of the world's most dynamic hotel business companies and Russia's and CIS's leading hotel operator, presents two new hotels in Russia: Radisson Resort Rosa Khutor (180 rooms) and Park Inn Resort Rosa Khutor (200 rooms). Both hotels are slated to open in late 2012.
According to Kurt Ritter, Rezidor's chairman and executive officer, the opening is just another testimony to the company's true commitment to its plans on the fast-growing Russian market. Rezidor's current Russian portfolio comprises 36 functioning and pipeline properties totaling 9,000 rooms.
Resort Rosa Khutor is located close to Krasnaya Polyana ski resort and 50 km east of Sochi city that will host Olympic Winter Games 2014. Both hotels will be integrated into the 537 hectar Rosa Khutor ski resort that is currently under construction, the first phase approaching completion. There will be 14 lifts and 50 mountain ski tracks, a mountain skiing school, restaurants, boutiques and a leisure area for children. Park Inn hotel will feature a restaurant complex. The project is much in line with the government's ambitions plans to make Sochi into a top class year-round resort area.
