Do not leave the car near residences of politicians, as well as nearby government buildings. Foreign drivers are also advised to invite an interpreter to the scene of the accident as local police are not distinguished by the knowledge of foreign languages.
27. Foreign drivers should not forget basic traffic regulations and should follow them for their own safety. Both the driver and all the passengers must necessarily fasten seat belts. While driving, it is recommended to make as few maneuvers as possible. You will increase your chances to drive safely if you quietly with the traffic.
28. Freight vehicles are a serious source of danger for drivers. Truck drivers often leave their vehicles at the roadside or even worse - right in the middle of the road. That is another good reason to avoid traveling at night.
29. It is really hard to drive in large cities without a map. In Cairo and Alexandria, there are multi-level interchanges on the road, so it will be not easy to find the right way in rapid traffic.
