Hilton Brings Its Canopy Hotel Brand to Paris
Hilton, one of the most famous hoteliers in the world, announced the opening of its Canopy hotel in Paris. The new hotel by the company’s lifestyle brand will have 150 rooms and will enjoy a prime location in the Latin Quarter, one of the popular districts famous for its rich cultural heritage.
The new Paris hotel is expected to greet its first guests roughly at the end of summer 2022. The Hilton Canopy Paris will be situated on rue Lacépède in the central part of the Latin Quarter, close to such famous landmarks as Jardin des Plantes and Place Monge. The hotel will have an eye-catching look as it will be open in a thoroughly renovated historical mansion with a roof in the Eiffel-style. As one building doesn’t have enough space for all rooms and facilities, the hotel complex will include a new seven-floor building with a fitness center, restaurant, bar, and a tearoom.
Currently, there are no Canopy hotels in Paris, but everything will change in 2020 when the company will open the first property not far from Trocadero. The Hilton Canopy hotel in the Latin Quarter will be the first hotel by this brand on the Left Bank. The hotelier is sure that the French capital needs more hotels as Paris remains one of the most visited cities in the world. Last year, it welcomed 40 million visitors, and the demand for Paris is only growing. Hilton promises authentic Parisian experience to all guests of the new Canopy by Hilton Paris Quartier Latin. As the hotel has a central location, it is perfectly suitable for everyone interested in sightseeing and gastronomic tourism.
To make the area greener, Hilton has an ambitious plan of adding a landscape component to the hotel. There will be a large garden on the ground floor and smaller gardens in terraces. Moreover, the hotel will have a façade covered by climbing plants.
Building and renovation works started on the site in September 2019 and may finish in summer 2022. The design of the new hotel will feature the most popular tourist sites. Hilton will also bring its renowned services and hospitality to the new hotel, promising services of the international level to both tourists and locals. Once open, the hotel will become a part of the company’s loyalty system that offers various incentives and extra services for members.
