Radisson Blu Hotel in Lund, Sweden, is Finally Open

News Radisson Blu, a popular upscale hotel brand, keeps expanding its portfolio. This time, the company opened a hotel in Lund, Sweden. This is not a newly built property as, actually, Radisson Blu has renovated and rebranded its own hotel that was previously known as Park Inn by Radisson Hotel, Lund. The 192-room hotel is open and accepts bookings.

Lund is not a frequent guest in hotel news, but, nevertheless, it is the second-oldest town in Sweden. Famous for its rich heritage and cultural history, Lund is definitely an interesting place to explore. The city is a wonderful combination of old and new, ancient and modern. Hotels in Lund become more popular as the city is slowly gaining recognition and its innovation and business sectors keep growing. Among the most notable landmarks of Lund, it is important to mention the Academy that was built centuries ago.

According to the Radisson Hotel Group’s spokesman, they decided to rebrand the hotel in response to the changing needs of travelers and Lund developers. In order to prepare the hotel for reopening, Radisson did a remarkable job. For example, all guest rooms were redesigned and changed, the same applies to all communal areas. Now, the new Radisson Blu hotel in Lund has a brand new lobby with a bar and a co-working space. It also offers new services that were not available before.

The new Lund hotel by Radisson has many advantages and location is definitely one of them. It is easy to reach the central part of the city by foot, so tourists do not need to care much about public transport. The hotel enjoys a fabulous location with impressive surroundings that only add to the overall satisfaction of guests. All 192 rooms have a comfortable and modern design.

A pleasant surprise awaits travelers who decide to book rooms on the top floors of the building. They will be rewarded by truly amazing views of not only Lund but also Copenhagen and Malmo. Of course, it would be a mistake not to mention the Ă–resund Bridge, one of the major landmarks of the city. Among the main features of the hotel, there are business space and on-site parking. The hotel’s eight meeting rooms can accommodate up to 120 delegates. By the way, Radisson Hospitality AB manages the new Lund hotel in accordance with a franchise agreement with another hospitality company, Winn Hotel Group.
