Hard Rock International keeps expanding its hotel portfolio, adding new and new destinations in the most popular European cities. This time, the famous company announces the opening of Hard Rock hotel in Madrid in 2019.
The new Madrid hotel will enjoy a truly fabulous location right in the heart of this vibrant city. Conveniently situated in the district of Atocha, the hotel’s windows will offer spectacular views of the historic Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina SofĂa. Needless to say, it is a wonderful choice not only for all fans of music but also for tourists who primarily plan to do sightseeing and exploring the cultural treasures of Spain’s capital. Near the hotel, there are also such iconic landmarks as Museo Nacional Del Prado and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Moreover, guests of Hard Rock Madrid will have easy access to the main railway station and the AVE high-speed train network.
For this project, Hard Rock works together with ActivumSG Capital Management Ltd. (ASG). Together, the companies plan to make a hotel that will fit the metropolitan city and will, at the same time, offer the signature music-inspired atmosphere that the Hard Rock brand is famous for. The new hotel will feature 159 guest rooms. ASG bought the site and the municipal office building that stands on it, and now plans to invest 25 million euro to transform it into a hotel. When finished, Hard Rock Madrid will get an upscale 4 plus star rank.
The new hotel will have such signature elements as Sessions restaurant and Constant Grind coffee bar. There will be other dining establishments that will offer regional food and beverages. The roof of the building will be transformed into the Rooftop Bar and Terrace with a fantastic urban garden and breathtaking views of the city.
Hard Rock hotel in Madrid will target both leisure and business guests. Among the signature offerings of the brand, it will feature Body Rock fitness center and the exclusive Rock Om wellness program. This program offers in-room yoga sessions with relaxing and serene music. Guests are also welcome to try the brand’s signature program called The Sound of Your Stay. They can play vinyl records or enjoy a special in-room jam session with a Fender guitar, an amp, and headphones. Naturally, the hotel will have the legendary Rock Shop with a choice of t-shirts, hats, and other merchandise.
