M&L Hospitality Opens a Hotel in Manchester, the UK

News The new hotel development in Manchester, the UK, is a very interesting place. The 19-story building has two hotels open under the same roof, and both of them are operating under different IHG brands. The Singapore-based hotel company M&L Hospitality announced the opening of their new hotel in Manchester in the gorgeous new building.

Located in the Oxford Road area that is not far from the central part of the city, the Lume is destined to become one of the signature landmarks of Manchester. The full of light hotel development has an interesting illumination that is reminiscent of the textile “loom” that gave the name to the building. The two hotels by IHG in the building are Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites. The Lume already welcomes its first guests.

The 328-key hotel in Manchester is the first property operated by M&L Hospitality in the city. With this Manchester hotel, the company has five hotels in the UK in its portfolio now. Travelers arriving in the city can now choose from two different IHG hotels. Staybridge Suites are located on seven upper floors of the building. This is a hotel perfect for long-stay guests. Staybridge Suites offer 116 studios and one-bedroom suites that come with a comfortable kitchen. Guests of these studios and suites also have access to the fabulous panoramic terrace on the 18th floor of the building.

Crowne Plaza hotel occupies lower 12 stores. This hotel has 212 guest rooms and such necessary infrastructure as a modern 24h gym, a restaurant for up to 120 guests, a bar, and a club lounge. Business facilities include several gorgeous meeting rooms that have enough space for more than 200 delegates. These rooms are important as the Lume appeals to both leisure and business travelers. The Oxford Road Corridor, which is the location of the new hotel, is located south of the historic center and includes several popular streets, such as Oxford Road and Higher Cambridge Street. St Peter’s Square and Whitworth Park are also not far away.

The Lume has a comfortable connection to major transport hubs and links in Manchester. Leisure tourists will like a short distance to many popular landmarks of the city. Long-stay business travelers and academics will be pleased with simple access to the commercial hubs and universities. To underline the academic importance of the city, all meeting rooms are named after famous students of the University of Manchester, including Alan Turing, Sir Arthur Stanley Eddington, and Sir Howard Bernstein.
