Hilton to Open a Hotel in Blackpool in 2018

Next year, Hilton will mark its presence in Blackpool with the Hampton brand. The hotel will operate under a franchise agreement with Create Developments (Blackpool) Limited.

Blackpool is one of the best-known resort destinations in the UK. The city’s council tries to make it even more popular and attract more investors to Blackpool. They have already completed several large upgrade projects, during which the city’s tram system and promenade were renovated. The major aim of the council is to make Blackpool a popular family destination all year round. Naturally, this draws attention of hotel companies that try to make their presence in the city.

Hampton by Hilton Blackpool will have 130 guestrooms and will be located at the corner of New Southern Promenade and Wimbourne Place. This is just two tram stations from the city centre and close to Pleasure Beach, a popular park that is known for its rollercoasters. The distance to the closest airport, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, is 45 kilometres. This will be the first Hampton by Hilton hotel in the popular seaside city. The hotelier is confident that growing fame of Blackpool will make hotels in this resort full of guests.

Once open next year, Hampton by Hilton Blackpool will join the 18 currently operating Hampton hotels across the UK that offer, as the hotelier claims, premium quality at a reasonable price. The brand’s popularity is rising in the country and Hilton has other 16 Hampton by Hilton hotels under development in the UK.
