Mövenpick to Open Hotel in Stuttgart Airport

Following the success of its first hotel in Stuttgart, Swiss hotelier Mövenpick announced the opening of a second property. The hotel will be located just 150 meters away from the existing hotel Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Messe and is set to open in spring 2019.

The new Stuttgart Airport hotel will be located close to the S-Bahn, tram terminal stop and ICE airport station. The first hotel by Mövenpick in Stuttgart Airport opened 9 years ago and since that time it has become very popular. The airport of Stuttgart is one of most important hubs in Germany, so the hotelier felt the need to add one more property there.

The new Mövenpick hotel will feature relaxing atmosphere, lots of greenery and atrium-style lobby. The 262 guestrooms will occupy the building that was previously used by the administration of the airport. The hotel will also have a restaurant for 150 guests and a 100 seat bar. The 740 sq. m. ballroom will be a wonderful choice for various events and conferences, while several meeting rooms will have everything needed for negotiations and other business meetings. By the way, the conference space at Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport & Mess is located in walking distance and can be combined with the new hotel to form a space of almost 3,000 sq. m. – the biggest event and conference space in southern Germany.

Mövenpick is a Swiss hotelier with eight hotels in Germany, four in Turkey, three hotels in the Netherlands, one in France, and five hotels in Switzerland.
