According to a new study by ReviewPro, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts and Library Hotel Collection accumulated the highest rank reviews among large and small hotel brands. The report of the Barcelona-based reputation management company is based on thorough analysis of online guest reviews. Top Luxury Hotel & Brand Report is the result of 2.7 million online reviews posted in 45 languages during 2015. The report covers 2,690 hotels by 159 luxury brands.
The Global Review Index (GRI) includes ranking based on several crucial points, such as overall satisfaction, value, cleanliness, rooms and location. Four Seasons Hotels earned high GRI of 93.2% and Library enjoyed the top score of 96.1%.
In individual rating, Belmond Palacio Nazarenas and Spicers Peak Lodge got the highest score of 98.1%. The report also mentions that luxury hotels become increasingly popular in China. In 2015, they got 703,041 reviews, which is 46% more than a year ago. This makes Chinese luxury hotels most frequently rated ones with American hotels occupying the second place after a 13% decrease. China also has the biggest number of luxury properties in the Top100 rated luxury hotels (23). It is followed by Maldives (11) and the UK (6 hotels).
