Hollywood-themed park similar to one in California will soon appear in Britain. The building costs of London Paramount Entertainment Resort estimate £2bn. When open, the park is expected to attract 50,000 visitors every day.
The exact date of opening hasn’t been set yet. It is expected that planning application of the resort will be submitted next year, work over the project starts in 2018, and the theme park could open in 2021. The park will be built between Gravesend and Dartford on the Swanscombe Peninsula.
London Resort Company Holdings, the company that is in charge of the theme park, promises unforgettable experience for adults, families with children, and thrill-seekers. The park will be packed with various attractions, rides and themed zones. Entertainment City will be the heart of the park and place of numerous music events, concerts and shows. There are also plans to organize Paramount and Friends Carnival in the new theme park. The event will celebrate the film maker that released such famous movies as Mission: Impossible, The Godfather, Star Trek, the Italian Job and many more.
London Paramount Entertainment Resort is also to have a 1,500 seat theatre for West End style shows, an indoor water park, a cinema dedicated to art house fans, numerous bars and restaurants, nightclubs, shopping outlets, and several hotels.
