The Dubai-based Jumeirah Group has announced another ambitious project for their home city. The company was chosen to operate a new hotel located in a mixed-use development that is currently under construction by RP Global. The hotelier will have an opportunity to open a hotel in a new iconic $1 billion tower in Dubai.
The Jumeirah Business Bay is set to open just in time for Expo 2020. The tower will include a 200-guestroom luxury hotel operated by Jumeirah, 290 posh residences also managed by another brand of Jumeirah and 350 fully serviced apartments. The tower, which will amaze with its height, is located on an area of over 3 million sq. ft. The Jumeirah Business Bay will overlook Burj Khalifa and Dubai Downtown. Intended as a luxury urban resort, in addition to hotel and apartments, the tower will have numerous food and beverage outlets, open air facilities, spa and health club, conference and banquet halls, and a bar at the rooftop. The design of the tower was developed by Atkins Globa, architectural and engineering company that developed another famous Dubai attraction Burj Al Arab.
