The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Hong Kong has launched a special limited time event called “strawberry chocolate fantasy”. The event is held at the hotel starting from September 1, and takes place only once a month. The event is made as an exclusive afternoon tea, during which guests are welcome to try a selection of chocolate pastries, various desserts and, of course strawberry. The tea party takes place at the hotel’s Café 103. The café has a signature bookshelf tea stand, which is available on weekdays, and “strawberry chocolate fantasy” is an expanded version of it. During the event time guests are offered some exclusive buffet items. The menu contains strawberry basil pave, strawberry Eton mess, strawberry choux, Chinese egg puffs and more.
The desserts were developed and cooked by the exclusive pastry chef of the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong Richard Long. Strawberry is a popular product, and the sweetness of chocolate perfectly complements its fruitiness according to Long, so they decided to combine these two products in an exclusive menu to create all time lovable and admired desserts for guests of the hotel.
