The Ritz Carlton hotel in Hong Kong has prepared something new for visitors of its Tosca restaurant. Now guests can attend special Red Afternoon Tea, the idea of which was inspired by the Ferrari Junior Collection, a special Ferrari line developed exclusively for Asian countries. The menu for the Red Afternoon Tea was created by Tosca Chef Pino Lavarra together with Richard Long, the hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef. The tea is served together with delicacies that origin is Maranello, Italy. The same place is known as home of the Ferrari brand. Guests of the Tosca restaurant will be treated with parmesan cheese and Parma ham, parmesan pop, saffron rice wheel and other delicacies such as red fruit macarons, panna cotta with red compote made of berries, strawberry pistachio tartlet, blood-orange sphere, cannoli with raspberry mascarpone cream and more. For each party chefs also prepare checkered flags, car key and faux wheels made of white chocolate.
Such afternoon tea parties are absolutely new for Tosca because there is no such tradition as afternoon tea in Italy. While preparing the Red Afternoon Tea, chefs paid close attention to Italian gastronomy and tried to make such parties modern and dynamic, same as the concept of Tosca. Guests are welcome to attend Red Afternoon Tea parties during August. The parties will take place at Tosca every Saturday during the month and are prices US$62 per person. The price also includes a glass of NV Ferrari Brut Rose.
