Bulgary, famous Rome-based maker of jewelry and perfume, will open a Bulgari-branded hotel in Dubai together with Meraas Holding LLC. The luxury resort will be located on a manmade island in the famous Middle Eastern city of Dubai.
The plans of the both partners are really grandiose. As it was reported before, the Bulgari resort complex will include a hotel with 101 guestrooms, 20 hotel villas, 165 apartments, 15 mansions, and 8 penthouses. Near the complex there will be a 50-berth marina and a special Bulgari yacht club.
The Bulgari hotel will be not first designer hotel for Dubai as the city is home to hotels branded by such famous fashion houses as Gianni Versace and Giorgio Armani. The city is a famous tourist destination with over 11,500 hotel rooms, four large theme parks and the largest Ferris wheel in the world, which is currently under construction.
The new hotel will be built on Jumeira Bay Island and will occupy a territory of 158,000 square meters. The development is to start this year and the hotel will greet its first guests already in 2017. Private apartments will be located in six towers and will range in size from one to four bedrooms. These apartments are already available for sale.
This will be not the first hotel by the famous company as Bulgari (which currently belongs to LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA) already operates hotels in Milan, London, and Bali. The company plans to open as many as 20 more hotels in different parts of the world within next 5-7 years. Primary goals include Bulgari hotels in Beijing and Shanghai.
