Hilton Worldwide will develop its first hotel at Bristol Airport under its economy brand Hampton by Hilton. The hotel will be opened together with famous modular hotels provider CIMC. The hotel will be financed and owned solely by CIMC, and Hilton will only act as managing organization. It was decided to choose Hilton as hotel manager as the internationally famous hotelier has extensive experience of operating hotels in biggest airports of the world.
CIMC will build the hotel in accordance with its innovative construction technique. The hotel is made of so called modules, which make construction works faster and cheaper. Whole portions of the hotel, such as guestrooms or hallways, are made and assembled in China, and then they are transported to the construction site. Hilton is very excited about the new technology and thinks it will open amazing opportunities to hoteliers and help to escape numerous obstacles and difficulties during construction.
Bristol Airport is currently partially under construction aimed at extending its terminals. There is a growing number of passengers who fly to and from the airport, so a world renowned brand like Hilton is a welcome addition there. Bristol Airport is the only airport among top ten airports of the UK with constantly growing number of passengers. Last year, it served 6.3 million people. It is also known as the most punctual airport in the world.
The hotel is scheduled to open in spring 2016. It will have 201 guestrooms and will offer 24-h fitness room, meeting and event space for business guests, free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast, and parking for 120 cars.
