The Courtyard hotel in Paris has always been among most active fighters for cleaner and greener environment. The hotel’s initiatives cover different spheres of work as it raises money for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), works over saving the bees, and is among participants of international sustainability movement. All these efforts make the hotel among leading hospitality companies in the green movement.
Guests will feel that the hotel cares about environment right from the moment they arrive to the Port de Versailles, where the hotel is located. Reduce of waste is one main targets of the hotel. Therefore, guests may notice organic waste treatment, paper recycling, plastic bags and paper hangers in rooms, and more.
Another initiative concerns partnership with Un Toit Pour Les Abe organization, which name can be translated as “A Rood for the Bees”. The hotel sponsors a hive and then receives honey which is used and sold on property. No need to mention that products for the restaurant at Courtyard Paris Arcueil are also selected with care. Oleo Pazzo Mediterranean Bistro uses mostly fresh local products.
The hotel’s staff is encouraged to participate in different movements and campaigns to help environment. For example, this June three associates from the hotel will participate in WWF Pandathlon to raise money for the Mont Blanc. In December, Paris will welcome the United Nations Climate Change Conference. To celebrate that, the hotel will offer a special themed menu, which will not generate any waste.
The Courtyard Paris Arcueil is located close to the Paris downtown. The 170 guestroom hotel features complimentary Internet, 24h fitness center, a restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine, and a buniess center.
