Hilton Comes to Patong

Hilton will add one more property in Thailand by opening a hotel in Patong. The Hilton Phuket Patong Resort is set to open in 2018 in a convenient location along the main coastal road that leads to the central part of the city. The distance from the resort to the airport is 21km.

The new hotel will have 300 guestrooms and will feature beautiful views of the Patong coastline. The resort will include 5 F&B outlets, a fitness center, a spa, several swimming pools, a special pavilion for events and even a standalone business centre.

Hilton commented the deal telling they plan to keep developing their presence in Thailand and making their brands more popular and recognized on the market. Phuket is widely known as one of most popular destinations in South East Asia, and its popularity is only growing. Currents works to expand capacity of the international airport will have positive effect on the tourism industry of the island. Once the expansion works are finished, the airport will be able to accept 18 million passengers a year. Current capacity of the airport is only 6.5 million passengers.

Hilton Phuket Patong Resort will be the sixth property by the famous hotelier in Thailand. When opens, it will join such popular hotels as Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, Millennium Hilton Bangkok, Hilton Pattaya, and Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa.
