Carlson Residor Brings Its Radisson Red Brand to China

Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will soon open its first Radisson Red hotel in the Asia Pacific region. This will be the Radisson Red Shenyang Hunnan hotel in north-eastern part of the country. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2016. It will have 300 guestrooms and will be located in a twin hotel development that will also include another hotel by this company, Radisson Blu Shenyang.

The capital of Liaoning Province, Shenyang is one of economic and financial centers of the region. The hotel will be opened in the district of Hunnan that is a part of Shenyang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. Shenyang International Airport, the Sports Stadium, and Shenyang International Exhibition Center are located not far away from the hotel.

The new hotel will feature modern design, the Hi All Gallery dedicated to art, F&B outlets, Quibar and more. Targeting at millennial-minded travellers, Carlson plans to continue expanding its portfolio in China. The company plans to have 60 Radisson Red hotels around the world by 2020 and hopes that a half of them will be located in Asia Pacific.
