Palladium Hotels & Resorts has launched new menu that is targeted at guests with food allergies. Currently, the menu is available in Palladium hotels in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica, but later it will be available in more hotels.
When guests with food allergies check-in, they will need to explain their allergies, after that they will be given a special card (the card is available in English and Spanish). The colour coded card need to be presented to waitresses when selecting food. The hotel chain’s stuff was specially trained to serve guests with food allergies and is aware of specific diets that are important with every type of allergies. Moreover, all buffet dishes and a la carte menus have special colour coding that matches the cards that are given to guests. Chefs and kitchen stuff have also passed a special training, and so they know very well how to cook food for diabetes-2 or gluten-free dishes. In total, Palladium Hotels offer 8 special diets that fit different types of allergies or certain health problems. Guests, who are allergic to nuts, diary, lactose, fruits and vegetables, eggs, fish and seafood, and even monosodium glutamate, will find suitable food there.
The menus were developed in collaboration with health professionals, chefs and dieticians, who did their best to create delicious, safe and healthy menus for different guests. Managers at Palladium Hotels think that vacation should be a trouble-free and relaxing time, but tourists with food allergies cannot really enjoy their holiday at full because they need to search for suitable food. In Palladium they can be sure they will get gourmet food that covers their needs.
