Artist Made Rooms in Boutique Hotel in London

These days many street artists become true international stars, and their works are exhibited in museums and sold at auctions. Andaz London Liverpool Street decided to stay in trend and added artistic chic to its guestrooms. The famous hotel started collaboration with several famous artists. From now, they will have signature guestrooms in the hotel. These special guestrooms will be made in accordance with the company’s program “Room With a View”, during which four king rooms in the hotel will be hand-painted by selected artists.

Four British artists were selected to participate in the program. These are Chris Price, ILoveDust, Patrick Vale, and Patrick Morgan. This month, the first room debuted in the hotel. This is the room decorated by Chris Price together with his collaborator and wife Delisia Howard. The design of the artwork was inspired by East London and the Pearly Kings and Queens tradition. The large black-and-white artwork decorates one of walls of the suite.

The Price’s room is the first one from the collaboration rooms. The other three will be open between October 2014 and April 2015. The management of Andaz London is thrilled about the collaboration and hope to bring true British modern art to the hotel.
