Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group will open the first dual branded hotel in Oslo that will also become the first dual branded hotel in the region. These are going to be The Radisson Blu Hotel Oslo Alna and the Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre Oslo Alna. The hotel will be located in Alna one of most modern and dynamic districts of the Norwegian capital.
Both the hotels will occupy the same building and will have 348 guestrooms in total. Radisson Blu will be an upper upscale hotel with 142 guestrooms and Park Inn by Radisson belongs to the mid-market segment and will have 206 guestrooms. The reception, lounges, bar and restaurant will be shared. Dining facilities will be represented by Betula Restaurant that will be the place of work for leading chefs in the Nordics, and Birk Lobby Bar is the place where guests can try exclusive cocktails and other refreshments. The hotelier promises the restaurant and bar will feature latest culinary trends in Scandinavia.
The hotels will have similar design that is inspired by local nature. Designers wanted to add the feeling of being in a Norwegian forest to the hotel. Guests will surely enjoy free Wi-Fi throughout the hotels, Jensen beds, flat screen TVs, and lovely view from the window.
Being mostly targeted at business visitors, the hotels will feature various meeting and conference facilities. The Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels will offer over 2000 sq. m. of meeting space. Those are the biggest MICE facilities in Oslo.
