New Hotel brand by Yoo Hotels

Yoo Hotels announced the launch of its new hotel brand named Yoo2. The first hotel under the new brand has already been opened in Istanbul.

Yoo2 is described as modern and playful brand. The first Yoo2 hotel is located just several steps away from Gezi Park. Yoo2 Taksim Square has modern design that has connection to history of the country. For example, in the hotel guests will find glass separators decorated with historical scenes depicting the city and its suburbs. It is also known that many recycle materials were used in the hotel, for example, stones for floors or walnut tree casings. The hotel’s lobby will certainly be liked by modern travellers who are keen on social networks – the lobby is made as a “showcase”, so it’s a perfect background for Instagram photos.

The second hotel will be made by Yoo Hotels in partnership with WorldHotels. That will be a hotel in Sinopati, Jakarta, and will be open in 2016.

Yoo2 Taksim Square will have 59 guestrooms and suites furnished by mostly contemporary lacquered furniture and with warm colour wallpapers. The designers of the hotel call it “comfortable and vibrant”. The hotel features a combined restaurant, a lounge, and a bar that offer dishes from Turkish and international cuisine made from local products.

The brand Yoo Hotels belongs to Yoo Ltd. This is a design brand created by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox. Yoo Hotels already operates several hotels – the Yoo Collection Bali, J Plus by Yoo hotel in Hong Kong, and the Yoo Collection at The Lakes hotel in Cotwolds (the UK).
