InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), one of largest hotel companies in the world, will open a hotel in Poland. This will be Holiday Inn Dabrowa Gornicza Katowice. The hotel is expected to greet its first guests in 2015.
The hotel will be opened in accordance with a franchise agreement between IHG and Hotel Commercial Investment. The hotel will have 160 guestrooms; its guests will enjoy the new Open Lobby Concept. The hotel will be located close to the new exhibition centre called EXPO Silesia, and it has beneficial location in the Katowice region. IHG hopes the brand new hotel will be popular with business travellers who visit the new exhibition hall.
Poland is not a frequent guest on pages of hotel news. Actually, Holiday Inn Dabrowa Gornicza Katowice is going to become the first hotel in Dabrowa Gornicza branded by international hotel chain. IHG opens the hotel as a part of its global European expansion program. The hotelier wants to promote Holiday Inn as a pioneer brand, and thus the company plans to open hotels and secondary cities and new markets across the region.
The hotel will be equipped with signature Holiday Inn beds, and guests are welcome to select pillows from a special menu. Holiday Inn Dabrowa Gornicza Katowice will have various business facilities, special programmes from kids and complimentary breakfast for all guests. The hotel will be a part of IHG Rewards Club the largest loyalty program in the world with 76 million members.
