Hilton Worldwide has recently added one more property to its Waldorf Astoria portfolio. This time this is a hotel in the Ras al Khaimah emirate. The opening also marks the first Waldorf Astoria in the UAE outside Dubai.
The luxurious hotel has 346 guestrooms with the smallest one having the square of 72 sq. m. (775 sq. ft.). The Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah overlooks the Arabian Gulf, and its design is mostly inspired by traditional Arabian palaces. Guests of the hotel may enjoy an 18-hole golf course located in the territory of the hotel.
The hotel’s lobby is decorated with a beautiful clock that depicts five Muslim prayer times. The hotel has as many as 10 restaurants and lounges featuring different cuisines of the world, and a cigar bar. Waldorf Astoria Ras al Khaimah also has the signature Peacock Alley lounge famous for its stunning cocktails. Other dining facilities include Qasr Al Bahar with an open kitchen and buffet style serving. Lexington Grill is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy a traditional American steak. If your main desire is to enjoy beautiful scenery, Marjan located on the 16th floor terrace overlooking the Arabian Sea would definitely please you. The restaurant serves the Middle Eastern cuisine. Umi is a Japanese cuisine restaurant with wide choice of sushi, teppanyaki and sake. Azure serves French and Mediterranean cuisine. Here guests can enjoy various light meals, cocktails and fresh juices. Al Fayrouz is a beachside bar with various beverages and snacks; if you want to try something special, 17Squared is a must see as the restaurant features beautiful 360° degree view of Ras al Khaimah. Finally, Camelia lounge offers high tea and pastries.
