Marriott International has announced new addition to its portfolio. The famous hotel company will rebrand Paris Ambassador Hotel in Paris to Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel. The 298-guestroom hotel will become the 12th hotel by Marriott in the French capital.
Ambassador hotel in Paris has rich history. The building of the hotel was built in 1927. The hotel features beneficial location on the right bank of the River Seine in Opera Quarter. The building was made by order of Baron Haussmann, who, in his turn, had the order to change architecture and streets of the City of Lights. During its long history, the hotel was visited by many noble and famous people. Many politicians, royalty, heads of countries and other famous people like Gustave Eiffel and Charles Lindberg stayed in the building. The hotel’s bar is named after Charles Lindberg not occasionally. Ambassador hotel hosted the celebration after Lindberg had completed his historic flight across the Atlantic.
Marriott has already commented the deal, telling they are very pleased with the new addition. According to the managing director of Marriott International Europe Amy McPherson, this hotel is a timeless property, and they are eager to make the hotel popular with new generation of travellers.
