Radisson Blu Riverside hotel has been recently opened in Sweden. Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, the owner of the brand, decided to open its new hotel in Gothenburg, a large city and a popular destination in the country.
What makes Radisson Blu Riverside so special? This hotel will be certainly liked by modern travellers who seek something unusual. This hotel has its own unforgettable design that was developed by Nicholas Veitch and Bronwynn Welsh, while interior decorations were developed by Doos Architects. The hotel has 256 guestrooms, but despite this fact its atmosphere is more reminiscent of a posh boutique rather than a chain hotel. Radisson Blu Riverside is located in Lindholmen, an area with tranquil atmosphere. Lindholmen was formerly a shipbuilding place, but today this is a silent and peaceful place. The new hotel feature eclectic design with lots of natural materials, such as copper, iron, and wood.
All guestrooms in the hotel have a stunning artwork that throws light on most notable aspects in history and geography of Lindholmen. There are six variations of these artworks. The ground floor of the hotel is intended to be a place where guests can eat, work and socialize. The open layout of this area allows enjoying fantastic views of the water and the landscape. Dining facilities are represented by Cuckoo Nest an all-day dining restaurant with modern design. The restaurant features a waterfront terrace where guests can sit in comfortable Chesterfield armchairs and enjoy their meal. Other facilities include a business area with a conference hall, a fitness centre, and the Body Lab Wellness spa.
