Exciting Offer to “Mary and Josef” Tourists from Travelodge

Travelodge is fully prepared to the holiday season, and thus the company has started a wonderful promotion for this year’s Christmas. As it is stated on the company’s website, they want to give away free hotel rooms to couples, whose names are Mary and Josef. This promotion is a good tradition in Travelodge, and this year is no exception.

In order to become eligible for free rooms during the 12 days of Christmas, couples must send a mail to a special email (you can find the email on the company’s Christmas promotion page) and present the proof of the fact that Maria and Josef are their real names. The mail must be sent until December 21. Once approved, the couples will be able to choose one of 500 Travelodge hotels in the UK. Free rooms are offered from December 24 to January 5.

As Shakila Ahmed, a spokesman of Travelodge, mentions, they have made this offer for five years, and the company thinks this is a wonderful promotion despite the fact that Christmas Eve is a hot season and it’s not reasonable to offer free rooms during it. This year the company got emails from their customers asking about the Christmas promotion as early as August. Even though Mary and Josef couples seem to be rare, Travelodge states that each year they provide free rooms to approximately 50 couples with these names.
