Mercure has announced the opening of a new hotel in Milton Keynes. The Abbey Hill Hotel in Milton Keynes has a wonderful location just twenty five minutes away from London Luton airport. The hotel will be located just next to the popular Abbey Hill Golf Club.
The hotelier says they have already invested £1.5 million into renovation of the property. The hotel will open already next month, and will be named the Mercure Milton Keynes Abbey Hill Hotel.
The new hotel will have 88 guestrooms with modern design, absolutely redesigned and refurnished public spaces, and convenient meeting rooms. Mercure also promises that Molten, the hotel’s restaurant, will be a real gem of the project. All the tables of the restaurant will be equipped with volcanic slates, and guests will be able to see how their food is cooked.
The hotel’s outdoor space will be equipped with simply everything for quality relaxation. Visitors are also welcome to dine on the outdoor terrace. The hotelier is very optimistic about their new project, and sees much potential in the Mercure Milton Keynes.
Mercure is the second-largest chain of midscale hotels outside the US. Currently, the company’s portfolio includes 724 hotels in 51 countries. The UK portfolio of the company includes 75 Mercure hotels, and the network is to be expanded greatly by 2015.
