Andaz Liverpool Street has prepared an interesting surprise to its visitors during the holiday season. The hotel has installed a retro jukebox that is full of various Christmas songs. All the songs have been selected by the hotel’s staff.
The jukebox will stay in the hotel from the 1st to the 28th of December. Among the songs offered visitors will find such undying hits as “Please Come Home for Christmas” by Bon Jovi (the song selected by the director of sales) or “Last Christmas” by Wham (the song selected by the restaurant sales manager). In order to make a jukebox play their favourite song, visitors will have to pay £0.50 (US$0.80). All the proceeds gathered from the jukebox will be sent to Providence Row, a charity organization that helps homeless people of London.
As the hotel’s General Manager Arnaud de Saint-Exupery mentions, Christmas is the time for giving, so they initially wanted to do something to help those who are in need. At the same time, a retro jukebox with favourite songs is fun and enjoyable, and this is a great way to maintain a festive mood.
