Stay Well Hospitality Group has announced that more hotels are to be added to its global network. The company will soon open three more hotels in India. All the hotels are currently under the process of development, and will be added to the portfolio of the company in the middle of 2013.
The new hotels will be a 192-guestroom hotel in Greater Noida, an 82-guestroom hotel in Hyderabad, and a 99-guestroom hotel in Raipur. The properties will be located in beneficial parts of the cities. For example, the Hyderabad accommodation will be located right in the center of the city, and the Raipur hotel will be a part of the largest mall in the region. Recently Stay Well has been very active on the global hotel market, and these new additions follow the announcements about new hotels in China and Southern Asia. The company has two established brands, Park Regis and Leisure Inn, which have hotels in Australia, the UK, Dubai, Singapore, and Dubai.
As the hotelier’s spokesman mentions, these are not all hotels that are to be opened in the region. The company is currently in the process of final negotiations about hotels in Mumbai, Jaipur, and Goa. Stay Well plans to have 25 hotels in India by 2014, and 50 hotels by 2016. Such a devotion to the market is understandable – the population of travellers in India has reached 650 million people, and one of the largest and fastest growing middle classes in the world opens new opportunities for hoteliers. Stay Well mostly works in the 3-4 star segment, and there is currently a lack of hotel networks of this class in India.
