Hilton Strengthens Its Presence in Istanbul
Hilton Worldwide will open one more hotel in Istanbul. The famous hotelier has signed an agreement with IC Bomoti Uluslararasi Kongre Turizm concerning the opening of an upscale hotel in the district of Sisli. The hotel will also be a conference center and will be named The Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center. The hotel will be located close to the building of the former Bomonti Beer Factory. The factory is now undergoing a restoration, after which it will be turned into a large entertainment complex. The complex will contain dining and retail space, an arts center and a hotel.
This is going to be the sixth Hilton hotel in Istanbul. The hotelier has properties working under four different brands. Among its hotels are such legendary properties as Hilton Istanbul opened in 1955 and the Conrad Istanbul. The total pipeline of Hilton in Turkey estimates 41 hotels.
The Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Center will be the biggest hotel in the city by the number of guestrooms and the size of the meeting space. Developers of the hotel hope it will attract large conferences and business users to the city. The hotel will occupy a newly built tower with 35 floors. Windows of its 829 bedrooms feature stunning views of the European side and Asia. The territory of the hotel will include two swimming pools (an indoor and an outdoor one), a spa, an executive lounge, a fitness center, an all-day restaurant, a bar in the lobby, and a bar at the rooftop.
Turkey is usually mentioned as one of the key priorities for Hilton. The company has opened several hotels in the country in recent years. Among them are such hotels as Hilton Garden, Hampton by Hilton, and DoubleTree by Hilton.
