SilverNeedle Hospitality has announced the creation of SilverNeedle Collection. This will be a portfolio of independently owned hotels located in South East Asia. All hotels belong to the luxury segment.
Initially the Collection debuted with three properties. These are Riva Surya hotel in Bangkok, 137 Pillars House hotel in Chiang Mai (Thailand), and Kiridara Luang Prabang hotel in Laos (Cambodia). According to the CEO of SilverNeedle Hospitality, their primary target is to increase the number of hotels in their collection to 15 properties in Asia Pacific. The company plans to reach this aim by 2016.
In order to become a part of the collection, a hotel must fit a series of requirements. These requirements concern various aspects and include food and beverage requirements, sleep and shower experience, concierge services, and more. Moreover, the location of hotels is also very important as SilverNeedle wants to gather hotels with “authentic destinations”.
SilverNeedle says they have a flexible approach to every hotel and its business model. They hope their Collection will help the sector of independent boutique hotels across Asia Pacific to develop. SilverNeedle Hospitality is an investment firm that currently has over 4,000 guestrooms in operation in the Asia Pacific region.
