Four Seasons has just opened its hotel in Pudong, Shanghai. The new accommodation is located right in the heart of the business district of the city. The hotel is a part of a large mixed use development, and is located in the 55-story 21st Century Tower.
Four Seasons Hotel Pudong has 187 guestrooms. The design of the hotel in Shanghai is made in the art deco style and is greatly inspired by the so called “Golden Age” in the history of the city. It is reported that all guestrooms in the hotel (both ordinary rooms and suites) are equipped with a private bar. The bar features a large choice of ingredients used to make signature cocktails.
Dining facilities are represented by several hotels and bars. Shang-xi restaurant is a great place to try dishes from Cantonese and Shanghainese cuisines. The restaurant features dim sum menu and a la carte menu. It is also equipped with five dining rooms, the décor of which is inspired by jade, amber, pearls. Camelia restaurant has two parts – an inner hall and a terrace. The specialty of this restaurant is afternoon tea offered with various sweets made by Pastry Chef Nicolas Maugard. The chefs of this restaurant are Benjamin Brial and Weimar Gomez. Both of them are highly skilled professionals who worked at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris restaurant awarded with 2 Michelin stars.
Other facilities offered include a meeting space of 800 sq. m., a ballroom, the Flare spa with two VIP treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool with beautiful panoramic views of the skyline, and a 24-h fitness studio.
