Recently Snotels has made its debut as a representation company, the mission of which is to connect high quality ski resorts in the Alps. At the moment the London-headquartered company includes 25 hotels located in most popular ski destinations in France, Austria, Norway, and Switzerland.
The resorts included in the Alpine collection are hotels in Seefeld, Lech, Saalbach, and Filzmoos in Austria; hotels in Mürren, Disentis, Verbier, Engelberg, Saas Fee, Grindelwald, and Lenk in Switzerland; a resort in Voss, Norway; hotels in Megève, Chamonix, Tignes, Les Arcs, and La Plagne in France.
In order to become a member of the Alpine collection by Snotels, a hotel must fit the specified requirements. There requirements concern the location of a hotel, its quality of service, various flexible stay options, and additional services like free Wi-Fi, and more.
Snotels was founded by Michael Metcalfe, a former snowboarding instructor. During years of travelling across the region, he had to face many complications, complex booking options, and poor service. This experience was the main driving force in the creation of Snotels.
