The Dorchester hotel in London has opened its newly redesigned suites that were developed by Alexandra Champalimaud.
The designer tried to make these suites look very English, but at the same time retain modern look and give visitors the feel of light. The 14 signature Dorchester Suites have large marble lobbies and three bedrooms that face Hyde Park and can be connected as one suite. Dining rooms of the suites can accommodate up to 8 visitors. The suites have fireplaces lit by crystal logs. Dorchester Suites are decorated with prints signed by the Prince of Wales, antique mirrors, amber-topped side tables, and Versailles panel flooring.
There are also 8 Park Suites in the hotel. Their design is less classic and more modern. Light suites have oak plank flooring, flame sculptures near chimneys, amazing lamps made of a single piece of coral, retro style bedrooms, and antique chairs. The suites are also decorated by paintings by Derek Rangecroft. Each suite has a stylish gilded mini bar.
All the suites have separate bathrooms with bathtubs and shower stalls.
