Panorama Hospitality Management (PHM), which is a subsidiary of Panorama - the largest travel and tour company in Indonesia, has revealed its ambitious plans. The hotelier plans to open as many as 25 hotels throughout the country within just three years. These will be mostly two-star and three-star accommodations. Such a step is the result of the growing demand for hotels of this level.
As the company’s management states, they are going to launch 15 two-star hotels that will operate under the BnB brand. The other 10 hotels will be three-star accommodations that will work under the 101 brand.
The new hotels will be primarily located in business centres and popular tourism destinations of Indonesia. Panorama is particularly interested in opening hotels in Sumatra, Sulawesi, Java, and Kalimantan. Other cities where hotels are likely to appear are Makassar, Yogyakarta, Lampung, Medan, and Palembang. The hotels will have from 120 to 150 guestrooms.
The first hotels scheduled for opening is The BnB hotel in Kepala Gading. The accommodation will greet its first guests already in December of this year. The hotel has a beneficial location in the central part of North Jakarta and will have 171 guestrooms. The BnB brand that features “the Urban Budget” concept will also have some additional facilities such as meeting space and a coffee shop. Even though this is a two-star hotel, the company calls it “premium two-star” because all guestrooms are furnished with high quality beds and guests are provided with free lunch, dinner, and Internet. Function and meeting space is good for highly developing MICE industry. The next hotel will be opened in the beginning of 2013.
